Barbs celebrates her 65th Birthday with ULegend

I have reached the ripe old age of 65 this year. I should have been picking up my State Pension by now. However I have decided that I am not that OLD and shall continue doing what I do best, keeping busy with exercise, work and raising money for Sarcoma with various challenges.

This year’s challenge is to complete a triathlon, keeping 65 in mind. I am hoping, with a little help from my friends, to achieve this by swimming 65 lengths, cycling 65 Miles and walking the Isle of Wight Coastal Path, which is 67 miles long.

The swimming date and venue will be announced soon.

The cycling event, for myself, will be on Friday 30 July. If you want to join me for this, which will take in 65 miles of countryside in North Warwickshire, please get in touch. This may not be possible for some people, so instead I am asking people to ride as many miles as possible during the week 24 to 31 July.

The walking part of the triathlon (plastic knee states that I can no longer run) will take part between Saturday 7 to Saturday 14 August.

My aim is for the ULEGEND donation to reach £65,000
